Karen Ardley

Karen Ardley is the Lead Consultant and Designer with KAA. Karen was previously a successful teacher and leader in all phases of education, an Ofsted Inspector, and an Adviser with three local authorities. Drawing on her wide experience, she designs, develops and delivers high quality, bespoke professional learning programmes focussed on impact and school improvement.

Her current work includes design and consultancy with UNRWA (United nations Relief Works Agency), CEL at The University of Manchester, COBIS (Council of British International Schools), BSME (British Schools in the Middle East), clusters of schools in UK, Europe and the Middle East, local authorities in UK and a developing partnership with NCSL (National College for School Leadership).

Karen’s current design highlights include creative approaches to the curriculum, coaching skills, evaluating impact of support staff, a new middle leadership programme – Leading4Impact and the thinking classroom. She considers herself very lucky…..
