A one day programme usually involving the community of one school - senior leaders, all staff, representatives of Governing Body and parents.
Objectives:
During this programme you will be provided with opportunities to:
to define ethos and consider how we can identify and improve it to review and celebrate existing good practice and strengths of our school to plan for development and improvement of the ethos of our school
The programme will focus on the following key areas:
defining ethos; reviewing the ethos of our school (using Ofsted criteria/ SEF); visioning how we want the ethos of our school to be; communicating and translating our vision into everyday experience; looking for evidence of the ethos; and planning for improvement.
This programme presents a very powerful experience for all those involved. We have successfully used our outline programme with several schools. Headteachers find it useful to have the session externally facilitated by one of KAA's experienced consultants - leaving them free to collaborate with staff and members of the school community. Evaluations have showed that this is a high impact programme. Richard Clegg from Hodge Clough Junior said
