A three day programme for Primary Headteachers, Deputies ad Senior Leaders interested in embedding a focus on learning and creativity throughout their school.
Objectives:
During this programme you will be provided with opportunities to:
plan how to make good use of the National Strategy - Professional development materials - Excellence and Enjoyment - learning and teaching in the primary years; reflect and explore the key factors impacting on learning in your school; and share thinking, experience and expertise to generate ideas and solutions to improve learning in your school.
The programme will focus on the following key areas:
evaluating learning in your school through planning and completing a learning walk; defining creativity; considering what makes 'outstanding' learning; sharing and collecting ideas and strategies to develop creativity in all classrooms; developing understanding of practical assessing for learning strategies; and planning effective professional development activities to improve learning.
This programme offers a collaborative opportunity to plan high impact strategies for your school which will improve the focus on learning and creativity. Evaluations from the first groups have all been excellent. Participants leave the programme with a mass of practical ideas to improve classroom practice and with inspiration and enthusiasm.
