Passport to Classroom Support

Passport to Classroom Support is a recognised programme, developed by leading UK training consultancy Karen Ardley Associates, offering accreditation from Edge Hill University UK, for people who would like to become, or are already working as teaching assistants in Primary Schools and Nurseries overseas.

You may have people already working on a voluntary basis in school, who would like to be employed as teaching assistants but with no qualifications or experience, or you may already employ TAs would like to take part in accredited training, this programme will develop the skills and knowledge necessary for this important role.

After the successful completion of a number of Passport to Classroom Support programmes in schools throughout the Middle East, with many participants going forward for accreditation with Edge Hill University England, we are now planning to run programmes in other areas overseas.

Participants will be required to attend four daytime sessions (8.30 am to 3pm each day) followed by a half day assessment, portfolio building and introduction to accreditation workshop a few weeks later.

The programme will be practical and full of good ideas for supporting children's learning. It is focused on developing the essential knowledge and skills for excellent classroom support. On successful completion, participants will receive A Passport to Classroom Support accredited by Edge Hill University England, demonstrating their commitment and ability to improve learning in the classroom.
