The Dudley Regional Staff College based at Ward House in Himley Park launched in the mid 1980′s as a joint enterprise by four West Midlands then LEAs to support ‘education management’ in schools. Since that time, as a not-for-profit training organisation, the College has evolved as a first choice provider of CPD Programmes for hundreds of schools across the Region as well as addressing the professional development needs of the wider children’s workforce triggered by the ‘Change for Children’ agenda. College programmes are open to staff working in the public, private, voluntary & independent sectors. Although dependent on generating its revenue in the market place, the College’s purpose is not shaped by ‘the bottom line’ but rather by a genuine commitment to playing a professional role in providing the whole children’s workforce based in and outside schools with quality learning opportunities designed to make a difference. The College is led by Sue McNicol whose background is in business and financial management and she is supported by education consultants and a small administrative team. College programmes are delivered by Associates, of which KAA is a prime example, comprising presenters & consultants who are proven outstanding practitioners drawn from all over the country |

Developing leaders,who develop people
Karen’s 4 day session was nothing less than AMAZING. I feel so positive and excited about my job and my team and the children I have. Starting with today I will be implementing ideas.
